All Proceeds Benefit the Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund WALK Join us for the second Annual Art Walk.  This fun event will be held in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park located between the beach and the Intra Coastal on East Sunrise Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale.  Walk through this beautiful, shaded park and help raise funds for the Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund.  The paved path is a 1.9 mile loop that circles by the Intra Coastal.  Do just one lap or as many as you like.   Art Work from Broward County Schools will be displayed throughout the walk. 

ART BOARDS
Teachers: get your students involved!
Create an Art Board to be displayed along the path.  You may use foam core or obtain a cardboard flat from Bizzy Jenkins at Cypress Bay High School.  Have your students illustrate an art movement, period, or specific artist on the board.  Bring the board to set up at 8 am event day, or deliver to Cypress Bay prior to October 25.  Label Board on the front with School , Teacher, students or class.  Boards will be available the morning of the event to decorate in chalk.  Reserve a board by emailing Bizzy Jenkins.

ART YOURSELF OUT
Costume contest – Dress as your favorite Artist or just plain “Artsy”.  Prizes to be awarded for the Most “ARTTED OUT” in elementary, middle, high, and adult categories.

Get friends, family, relatives, businesses to donate funds to the Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund.  Use the Donation Form to keep track of your donations.  Attain the following levels of donations to earn prizes.
Prize Levels:   $50.00  in donations

                     Grand Prize to the top 3 Fund Raisers

Registration includes event T-shirt, entrance into Birch Park (you will receive a coupon), and a 2 for 1 entrance coupon to Bonnet House.

Thank you for supporting ART WALK!  The Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund provides students pursuing post secondary education in the arts with funding.  The funds raised by B.A.E.A are earmarked for visual arts students.
